We are delighted that not one FineArt inkjet paper from the Hahnemühle collection has won a TIPA World Award this year, but three! With the Hahnemühle Natural Line and the paper types Hahnemühle Bamboo, Hahnemühle Hemp and Hahnemühle Agave the inventor of Digitial FineArt Inkjet papers has once again succeeded in convincing the Technical Press Imaging Association - in short: TIPA -. All three papers of the Hahnemühle Natural Line are awarded the TIPA World Award 2020 in the category “Best Inkjet Photo Paper”. The editors and publishers of 30 photo and image magazines from around the world are enthusiastic about the newspapers of Hahnemühle's Natural Line:
“The Hahnemühle Natural Line stands out for both their sustainable production and their unique surface properties. The cellulose in these papers is provided by raw materials that require minimal maintenance and do not require pesticides. Each 290 GSM paper has a unique look and feel. Bamboo is a warm-tone paper with a slightly structured surface; Hemp is a bright white matte paper with a slightly textured surface; and Agave has a more textured surface with a bright white base. ”
The Natural Line has a special place in the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection. It focuses on FineArt inkjet paper made from unique raw materials: bamboo, hemp and agave. The plants that provide the cellulose require minimal maintenance, grow quickly, and do not require pesticides. Due to their rapid growth, more cellulose can be produced on the same cropland than with other raw materials and also require much less water, saving valuable resources and protecting the environment. The new Natural Line FineArt inkjet paper is the next step in the continuous pursuit of sustainability and careful use of Hahnemühle's resources. The Natural Line complements the Digital FineArt collection with special fine art inkjet papers made from unique raw materials and supports environmental projects at the regional and international level as part of the Green Rooster initiative.
In addition, all three papers do not require optical brighteners, are acid and lignin free and completely vegan - like all our Digital FineArt Collection papers.
Clean water, natural fibers, first-class paper manufacturing expertise and absolute dedication to the production site in Germany have been the foundation of Hahnemühle's success for over 435 years. Hahnemühle treats its natural environment with respect and is socially responsible. After all, without this uncompromising commitment, it couldn't make high-quality paper. Hahnemühle is proud of everything it has achieved to date and is constantly working to improve sustainability and conserve resources. Sustainability plays a key role at the production site, as Hahnemühle is close to a nature reserve. Environmentally friendly paper production is therefore a high priority. A careful and responsible use of valuable resources such as water, fiber and energy is self-evident.
The Hahnemühle Natural Line papers are therefore the result of Hahnemühle's willingness to innovate, its commitment to sustainability and its sense of responsibility.
All three of the Hahnemühle Natural Line's durable premium inkjet papers celebrated their global premiere at the Photo Plus Expo in New York in the fall of 2019. World innovation made its debut in Germany this year Photokina 2020 to demonstrate that perfect FineArt printing can be taken to a new level with sustainable paper. The excellent artist's paper from the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection is and remains unique in the market.
